It all began when Ben Richter (Lead Vocals/Guitars) and Geoff Ashcraft (Guitar) left behind their home of Texas to land in Atlanta, GA where Josh (Drums) and Chris (Bass) also joined to form the band. Right around that time Josh spent a couple weeks in Timisoara, Romania on a mission trip and heard an amazing story of that nation while in the center square�That in 1989 Communism was overthrown in that very town square by what began as just a small group of Christians gathering to protest. That night a man took Josh around the corner to show him �the museum�. It was a small building built to contain the things left behind, the evidence there had been a Revolution. The band would be called The Museum. �We know our music will eventually fade, but it�s our hope that for our music and to all the people we meet along this journey, that this is the evidence that Christ has done a revolution in our hearts and we�re forever changed because of it�

When you call your first album Funeral, you set the bar high in terms of your maturity level. How can any young band evolve toward that full-grown third album after starting out with a meditation on death and grief? It's no problem for Arcade Fire � these Montreal indie rockers are not shy about gunning for a solemn, grandiose, three-hankie anthem every time out. The best song on their last disc, "No Cars Go," was a dead ringer for Neil Diamond's flag-waving classic "America," which gives a sense of the gargantuan scale of their anthemizing. On their fantastic third album, The Suburbs, they aim higher than ever, with Roman numerals and parentheses in the song titles
. In their dictionary, "suburbs" is nowhere near "subtlety." But that just adds to the emotional wallop.

The strange thing about Arcade Fire is how they instinctively scale their most intimate confessions to arena-rock levels, rolling out big drums and glossy keyboards. Unlike their mentors U2 and Bruce Springsteen
, they don't have much interest in everyday details; the closest they come is when Butler sings about driving to Houston "as we listened to the sound of the engine failing." (Springsteen would tell you what went wrong with their carburetor. "You gotta put fuelie heads in that 396, pal!") But that's part of what has made these guys so hugely popular: You can hear how hard they're trying, and that becomes part of the excitement.

Gary Allan has recently finished recording his new album GET OFF ON THE
PAIN with long-time producer Mark Wright. The firstsingle, "Today," is
currently climbing the charts and is spinning on stations across the country
now. The album is being released as a regular 10-song version as well as in a
deluxe edition that includes 4 bonus songs.

On his eight studio album, Get Off on the Pain, California honky tonk hero
Gary Allan digs deep in the soil of human emotion and comes up with a
handful of diamonds. Allan, one of the few authentic artists to come out of
Nashville since country music turned into a giant money machine, is as real as
they come. Never a trend follower, Allan — who for the most part has
steered clear of cheese-filled songwriting fodder — keeps getting better with
age. Get Off on the Pain is a well-crafted, ten-song collection that, to steal a
well-worn phrase, is all killer and no filler. The gritty and grinding title track, a
thundering number that finds Allan examining his fondness for a lifestyle that
has left him with more than a few scars on his heart, body, mind, and soul,
sets the tone for the entire disc. This isn't music for Sunday mornings; it's not
all sunshine and flowers in Allan's world. The slow-burning "Along the Way"
and the revved-up "That Ain't Gonna Fly" are meaty numbers that showcase
Allan's unmistakable wail. The former is a reflective number, while the latter is
a pedal-to-the floor barn burner. Few country artists can rock harder than
Allan, but the outlaw singer/songwriter can easily handle a good ballad, as he
proves with "Today." The heartrending track cuts deep and burns long after
the last note fades. Strings, steel guitar, and piano swirl around Allan's
aching vocals as he slips on the boots of a man struggling to come to terms
with a relationship long dead except in his mind. The final nail is hammered in
the coffin when the guy's ex marries someone else. Allan had a hand in co-
writing five of the songs on Get Off on the Pain, which will likely go down as
one of the best albums of his career.

30 Seconds to Mars is an American rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1998. Since 2007, the band has been composed of actor Jared Leto (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, songwriter), Shannon Leto (drums, percussion) and Tomo Milic(evic' (lead guitar, keyboards). Following the departure of Matt Wachter (now of Angels & Airwaves) in 2007, Tim Kelleher became the bassist for the group, performing live only with both Jared and Milic(evic' recording bass for studio recordings, while Braxton Olita (keyboards) was added to the touring lineup in 2009. Previously, the group also featured guitarists Solon Bixler (now of Great Northern) and Kevin Drake.

To date, 30 Seconds to Mars have released three studio albums ï¿½ 30 Seconds to Mars (2002); A Beautiful Lie (2005); This Is War (2009) and two extended plays ï¿½ AOL Sessions Undercover (2007) and To the Edge of the Earth (2008).

A Beautiful Lie earned the group a number of awards and nominations, winning three MTV Europe Music Awards and three Kerrang! Awards among others.

Kylie Ann Minogue, OBE (born 28 May 1968) is an Australian pop singer, songwriter, and actress. After beginning her career as a child actress on Australian television, she achieved recognition through her role in the television soap opera Neighbours, before commencing her career as a recording artist in 1987. Her first single, "Locomotion", spent seven weeks at number one on the Australian singles chart and became the highest selling single of the decade. This led to a contract with songwriters and producers Stock, Aitken & Waterman. Her debut album, Kylie (1988), and the single "I Should Be So Lucky", each reached number one in the United Kingdom, and over the next two years, her first 13 singles reached the British top ten. Her debut film, The Delinquents (1989) was a box-office hit in Australia and the UK despite negative reviews.

Initially presented as a "girl next door", Minogue attempted to convey a more mature style in her music and public image. Her singles were well received, but after four albums her record sales were declining, and she left Stock, Aitken & Waterman in 1992 to establish herself as an independent performer. Her next single, "Confide in Me", reached number one in Australia and was a hit in several European countries in 1994, and a duet with Nick Cave, "Where the Wild Roses Grow", brought Minogue a greater degree of artistic credibility. Drawing inspiration from a range of musical styles and artists, Minogue took creative control over the songwriting for her next album, Impossible Princess (1997). It failed to attract strong reviews or sales in the UK, but was successful in Australia.

Minogue returned to prominence in 2000 with the single "Spinning Around" and the dance-oriented album Light Years, and she performed during the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Her music videos showed a more sexually provocative and flirtatious personality and several hit singles followed. "Can't Get You Out of My Head" reached number one in more than 40 countries, and the album Fever (2001) was a hit throughout the world, including the United States, a market in which Minogue had previously received little recognition. Minogue embarked on a concert tour but cancelled it when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005. After surgery and chemotherapy treatment, she resumed her career in 2006 with Showgirl: The Homecoming Tour. Her tenth studio album X was released in 2007 and was followed by the KylieX2008 tour. In 2009, she embarked upon her For You, for Me Tour, her first concert tour of the US and Canada.

Although she was dismissed by some critics, especially during the early years of her career, she has achieved worldwide record sales of more than 68 million, and has received notable music awards, including multiple ARIA and Brit Awards and a Grammy Award. She has mounted several successful concert tours and received a Mo Award for "Australian Entertainer of the Year" for her live performances. She was awarded an OBE "for services to music", and an Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2008.

In mid-2009, Minogue confirmed that she was working on her eleventh studio album commenting that it will be an album of dance and pop music. Confirmed producers and songwriters working with Minogue on the album have been Nerina Pallot and Andy Chatterley, Xenomania, Calvin Harris, Jake Shears and Babydaddy of Scissor Sisters, Richard Stannard, Lucas Secon, Greg Kurstin, Stuart Price, Tim Rice-Oxley, Fraser T Smith and RedOne. Minogue performed "Better than Today" during her 2009 For You, for Me Tour and referred to it as "a song that will feature on my next album". The United States is expected to be a priority this time around, after rave reviews for her debut American tour.

RedOne stated, "To me I was expecting a diva, you know, somebody who's going to be like (that) because she's been doing it for so long," he said of Minogue. "It was fun, easy to work with her. We did three songs in two days ... (and) we said we're going to do more songs in LA."

Minogue's eleventh studio album, Aphrodite, will be first released in Japan on June 30, 2010 and worldwide in July 2010. The lead single, "All the Lovers", premiered at radio in May 2010 and was made availalble for purchase in June 2010.

On 3 June 2010, she hosted the inaugural AmfAR "Inspiration Gala" at the New York Public Library honouring Jean Paul Gaultier for his lifelong contribution to men's fashion and the fight against AIDS.
